Hi Stephanie: I too have Bird/Byrd connections in North Carolina and, like you, have a brick wall. My brick wall is my gg grandfather Alfred Bird/Byrd who was born around 1802. He married Elizabeth Moore and lived in or near Pitt County, NC. they had several children one of which was Delitha, my great grandmother born 10/18/18932. I can't find any information on Alfred or his siblings or parents. Do you connect to this family? If so I would really appreciate any information you can provide.
