Hello fellow Bird watchers, I just received a book called 'The Early Byrds of Grayson County, Virginia' by The Byrd Family Association. I don't find a tie to my Byrd family of VA, so wonder if anyone else might have an interest in the book. Please contact me privately, off list. It details the descendants of John BYRD who died before 1782 in Prince Edward Co, VA. He was married to Sarah (unk). Second generation is: William BYRD b 1752 VA, d 1829 m to Alley (unk). His brother, Samuel BYRD b 1758, d 1820 m Mourning GILBERT. Their brother, Henry BYRD b 1764 d 1859, m Nancy BALDWIN. Their sister, Elizabeth BYRD b 1771, d 1870, m John Lincoln HARMON. The 955 page, indexed, publication has a great many photos, copies of documents, sources, etc. Excellent condition. I am NOT a bookseller, nor trying to make a profit. Just would like to have this book in the hands of a researcher who can make good use. If this could be your family, I will be happy to do a lookup for you.
