What is really strange though is if Palmer was the second husband, then why and when did she move to Pattersons Creek, Hampshire County, WV? This Palmer dying in Philadelphia ca 1750 also kindof really makes it strange too? Did she marry again? Any ideas? His name is Elisha Bird, who married Cathrina Ringo. He had a daughter named Effie Bird. Effie Bird married a Reuben Pownall(son of George Pownall, whose will was witnessed by two KITCHEN's in Buck's County, PA). Reuben(b.1719) & Effie(b.1725) had a daughter named Rachel Pownall and married a John Peters in 1779. John Peters was the son of James & Mary (Bird) Peters. James drowned in the Susquehanna River while trying to rescue a woman who had fallen over a flatboat(speculated at Clark's Ferry, near Duncannon, PA). John was born in Perry County, PA in 1752. John & Rachel move to Hampshire County, WV(near Romney) in 1792. Hence, I am looking for information on all Mary Birds and wills that eliminate them as my Mary Bird. I know another Bob Orr, who lives out west and related to the Vandervorts/Peters(descendents of John & Rachel Peters). I have attached the 15 Mary Birds with corrections.
