    3. I'm about to complete my family book BIRD, FRANKS, SMITH & RELATED FAMILIES. If you would like to have any family information and pictures included... they must arrive to me by Sept. 1, 2001. Solomon Bird and Nancy Britt Bird were the parents of Sarah Bird. She married John Franks 1808 Edgefield Dist., SC. I have not been able to definitely prove that John Franks is the son of James and Ann Franks of King George Co, VA, Hanover Parrish, but think that everything points to this line. Another daughter of Solomon Bird, Easter, married in Edgefield Dist., SC about 1804 to Elijah Smith, the son of Spencer Smith Sr and moved to Lawrence Co., TN. John Franks and wife Sarah Bird Franks moved to Lawrence Co., TN also. Many decendants still live in Lawrence Co., TN. Mary Nell Hollis Franks

    3. Please everyone if you do not have a Virus Protection program, then Get one NOW please. The amount of Virus going around are higher then I've seen in a long time. Also the Viruses are getting smarter I've watched while my husband (computer tech) clean 4 computers in the last couple of weeks with viruses, the viruses in 2 rewrote things in the bio's making it harder to clean one he had to wipe the whole hard drive clean, one more had a Trojan that rewrote itself everytime it was booted. So the average person will not be able to rid their computer of the viruses and will have to take it to a professional to clean it. The best thing to do is don't open any attachments and invest in a Virus program it's well worth the money and keep it active at all times.
