    1. New Look, 2000 name GEDCOM, NC,TN,VA,WVA
    2. Joseph Britt
    3. The general area is Far Eastern Tennessee, Southwestern VA, Southern WVA, and Yancey & Mitchell Counties in NC. I am placing the surnames along with number of each here below for you to check over. If it looks like you might be interested in a particular surname...Please!...visit my page(s) which are linked in my signature file at the bottom and examine the GEDCOM that I have made available. The last time that I placed the list here WITHOUT making this point I ended up getting over 100 non-specific requests like..."Give me all you have on the "XXX" surname" or "Do you think that your John XXX might be related to XXX?" I regret that I will not be able to answer email which does not have a definite connection to a __specific person__ in my file. Thank you and hopefully somebody will find a person they've been looking for... 3. For what it may be worth ------ In notes of a family researcher some 30 years old I came across an entry for a John Baugh, b. 1933 in Lawrence Co., IN. There is a rather cryptic note included, which reads: "He married a second time Martha Byrd (Ballard)." I throw this out just in case anyone is looing for a Byrd - or Ballard - in IN at about this time. Hope it helps someone - sure doesn't help me. Bob

Rebecca Sanders-b.1839 Nancy Ann Sanders-b.1842-m. Izaac Sanders(Rather confusing}They had 19 children. They were married Decatur Co.,Ind.Nancy d.1913 John M.Sanders- b.1843 Joseph H.Sanders-b.1847 Thomas Sanders-b.1849 Malinda Sanders-b.1851 Mary Elizabeth Sanders-b.1858 IN{Our Line}m.Paris Carter 1874 in Coles Co,Hutton Twp IL.d.1922 Fayette Co.,IL. 1840 Census Washington Co,KY.lists Cynthia & Isaac.& 3 children 1850 Census Sand Creek Twp,Decatur Co IN lists Isaac and Cynthia with 7 of their children. Also in household was a JANE BIRD -77 years old. We think this must be Cynthia's mother. This would make JANE BIRD b. 1773 probably in NC. 1860 census lists Isaac and Cynthia with 7 of their children. There is also an Isaac Wooten-9 years old. JANE BIRD is not listed. 1880 census of Coles Co,IL.finds Isaac&Cynthia. They are 65 years old.Cynthia is listed as being born in KY. and her parents born in NC. We would love to find the parents and siblings of Cynthia Bird.

    3. I use Netscape and don't have that problem. I just click on the name and it fills out a card to put in my address book. I can't get around in that darn address book either. Usually when I have a problem putting something in my addess book, I type in the e-mail address and send a copy to myself, then I can click on it and in it goes. I very carefully put a name in the organization spot so I can tell what line the person is interested in. I would be interested in the address book secret too.
