I re-read the original confirmation to subscribe(from Lisa, the listowner) and it says that this forum is for BIRD, BYRD, & BURD! I think that covers it, don't you? Mine are BYRD's, but they were spelled BIRD in marriage records, and BURD in a land document, so you never know what a clerk is going to do with this surname! ....Still looking for connections to my William Byrd who married Elizabeth Lang in 1809 in Adams co., MS. The Mayor of Orlando has asked that those who have family and friends here to not call the phone lines are clogged and they need them for emergancies. As of 4pm today all the roads in Orlando will be closed. Parts of Orlando have no power or phones now. We just got hit with the first of the heavy rains and strong gusty winds. This is the last you will heard from me till it's over, I've lost power already once and I'm watch a limb that has split waiting to fall and take my phone lines out, thank goodness I still have the cellphone(till the towers go down).
