He is the son of George Wallace Birch and Susan Katherine Payne (Pain). Born in Washoe, Nevada. I am his grandson and lived in home from 1928 to 1941. His stories and his life still live in my memory. He has a brother George Washington Birch (1850-1928) and a cousin George Washington Birch (1874-1941).
