Hi Birch researchers... Thomas L. Birch Sr. b. 1746 in Ireland d. 17 April 1844 in Monongalia VA He was a Rev. War soldier...married Mary Gray in Montgomery Co. MD abt. 1777. They were separated abt. 1806 in PA, (after raising 7-8 children) and he took a common law wife, Maria Knox. Together they also had a large family of 8 or 9 boys & 1 girl.
