Hi again List, I hope we dont have John in his grave too early by thinking his health isnat too good again. I do know apart from him not being well last year he has also put out a book called "John William Birch" I would like to think that this is why he's been too busy to reply to peoples e-mails and not his health issue again. I think Michaels idea is great if that could be done and I'm sure such alot of us would benefit from such knowledge that John has put together. If you get to see him Michael on your trip. Dear List, This is such sad news of John, and I am sure we all wish him better health. Does anyone of you see him personally or have telephone contact? If so, you might like to ask him if there is any way we as a group can help him. He has such a precious resource, that I am wondering if we should start a fund to help him convert it to a retrievable form, that we can all access. I live largely in NZ, but I shall be in the north of England in late June and could call in on John to better understand his situation and draw alongside him. I would need a phone number, which obviously could only be given with his consent. Sorry he does not reply. I have some information going a long way back but so far none of it fits with anything anyone has said in these messages. My own Birches were in Wharfedale and previous to that in Manchester(early 1700s). So if anyone can get back to that date and MAnchester I might be able to help.
