George Billington was born in Elgin County ca 1848 or 1849, s/o John Billington born in USA ca 1824. Came to Elgin County. this John billington, married Anne (Ellison) possibly a widow, with maiden name of WIDNER also of this Elgin county area. Is the earlier James Billington (born in USA, died in 1866, interred in Aylmer Cemetery in Elgin county the father of John, born in USA???Apparently this James Billington was married twice, 1.poss a Cornelia, when ? when did she die and where,(poss Elgin County, ON) # 2, married Susan in Elgin County. Looking for proof of this connection between James and John, both born in USA. Wish for proof of these people. I know from Bilble records that John Billington born in USA and Anne are my grgrgrandparents. Aany help on this would be appreciated by Norma C. Smith
