My 1 maternal WILLIAMS line is through my 2nd great grandfather, William WILLIAMS, born: abt. 1790 in Maryland, who married Elizabeth ?, (born in Ohio,) who was in Catahoula Parish and then Franklin Parish, Louisiana abt. 1840 where my great grandmother, Claranda "Clara" WILLIAMS was born abt. 1840 and she married my great grandfather, Hudson/Hutson H. SLAUGHTER, born: 1844 in Greene/Pickens Co., AL, and William WILLIAMS is said to be descended somehow from the same Roger WILLIAMS family that my other two WILLIAMS lines descend from as mentioned below.
