Hello, I am writing a semi-long email regarding several connecting family lines that has information pertinent to each of the lines by virtue of the numerous times that most of them connect in the early 1600's as well as earlier and later over the centuries. One thing that I am searching for is the surname/last name of Mrs. Alice ? PIERCE BENNETT who was the widow of husband # 1: Thomas PIERCE and husband # 2: Thomas BENNETT. Recently I found reference to the possibility that Alice's maiden name might be either REYNOLDS or PHILLIPS but can't remember which nor where I saw that but due to the information I have that one of her sons names was Phillips BENNETT it seems quite feasible that PHILLIPS was, indeed, her maiden name. Billington, born abt 1790. According to various census reports, he was "from OH", had at least two sons, William and James, born in KY, in the 1820s. William (Jr.) married a Minerva Beasley, and had one daughter, Rebecca Jane BILLINGTON, who subsequently married Henry Bonebrake Sherman, about 1869, in Indiana. They had 13 children. I'm getting a lot of conflicting info regarding children of Elizabeth Billington, dau of Francis (of Mayflower) and wife of Richard Bullock. Did she have son, John Bullock, who married Susannah Wright Perot? John and Susannah had dau Ann(e) who married Richard Burtis(s). This Billington and Bullock stuff is very confusing. Howdy Folks, New to the list.... looking for information about the ancestry and life of JOHN BILLINGTON (b. c1643 Rappahannock Co., VA.) who married MARY DAY during 1672.
