From the book: Georgia Memoirs>Vol. 1>Chapter 3 Industrial Resources>Glynn County (pg 2) F.D.Biggs, liveryman, Brunswick, Glynn co., Ga., is a son of Daniel and Olive Collins Biggs, natives of NC and was born an Antioch, NC July 31, 1858. Daniel was a son of William Biggs, who came from England to the United States when a boy. Mr. Biggs was educated at Trinity College, NC. When he reached manhood he began life for himself, relying on his own resources and pluck for success. He has lived in three states, and filled several public offices, having been a justice of the peace in Baldwin county, Ala., and Escambia county, Fla., and is now successfully running a livery stable in Brunswick. Mr. Biggs married Miss Cinderilla, dau of Malcolm and Frances Turner Baggett...both Floridians...in 1881. He is a member of the A.O.U.W.;the I.O.O.F.; the Knight of Pythias; the Knights of Honor; and of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Popular, obliging and enterprising, he is sure to swell to handsome property his already large surplus.
