Elias was found in Warren Co. TN in 1820's, Marshall Co MS in 1840's and in Desoto Co. MS in 1850's. Elias Biggs was born in 1793 in VA, served in war of 1812 in Warren Co. TN, land records dated 1824, migrated to Mississippi by 1847. He married Margaret Guess and they had the following children: Joseph, William, Delphia, Slusan, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Henry Clint, Mary, Betsy, Malinda, Amanda, Alexandra, Erwin and Hiram. His family was shown in Marshall Co. AL in 1840. In 1830 Jackson Co AL appeared a Nancy Biggs age 40-50 with one male 10-15. In 1840, a Joseph Biggs aged 20-30 was shown in Jackson Co. AL with an older female aged 50-60. Elias was 37 in 1830. Nancy's husband could have been related to Elias since Jackson isn't that far from Marshall Co. Elias's family is shown in Desoto Co. MS in 1850 and after his death-- the family migrated to Drew Co. AR. Elias was found in 1846 Probate Records for Benjamin Biggs of Shelby Co. TN -- owing Benjamin money.
