Joyce Blackmon Biggs, 70,of Hazlehurst, died Jan. 15, 2001 at her home. Services were held Jan. 18, from Hazlehurst United Methodist Church with interment in Hazlehurst Cemetery. A native of Copiah County, she was a lifelong member of the Hazlehurst United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the Hazlehurst Garden Club and Cherokee Rose Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include: husband, George Marx Biggs, Sr.; daughter, Pam Ashley of Hazlehurst; son, George Marx Biggs, Jr. of Jackson; brothers, W.H. Blackmon of Slidell, LA. and B.H.
