Biggs, 49, of 1 Kitston St., Stroudsburg, died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday in the Graduate Hospital at Philadelphia after a long illness. A native and lifetime resident of Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of Ms. Theresa M. (B<smudge>) Biggs, Stroudsburg, and the late George N. Biggs. She was graduated from Stroudsburg High School and St. Luke’s Nursing School, Philadelphia. She was employed as cytologist at Monroe County General Hospital, East Stroudsburg. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stroudsburg. Besides her mother, surviving are six sisters, Mrs. J. W. James, Stroudsburg; Margaret Biggs, Landsale(sic); Mrs. Paul E. Long, Albany, N.Y.; Mrs. William Mellick and Mrs. Fred Yuhas, both of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. T. C. Wilkins, East Stroudsburg. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dunkelberger – Westbrook Funeral Home, Stroudsburg. Viewing will be 7-9 p.m. tomorrow.
