Believe he came from Frederick CO Maryland He was a British Army soldier and deserted to serve in the American Revolutionary war. He married Bushrod Washington's daughter and moved westward to take Land warrants near the Cheat River in Monongalia County,VA. His son, JOSEPH BIGGS born 1787 and lived in Allegany (Garrett County)Maryland in Ryan's Glade....married FANNIE SMITH HEBB Died 9-27-1843.
