Not weird, maybe just "odd"! The IOOF is the International (or Independent) Order of Odd Fellows, a large fraternal organization started in the U.S. in 1819. The 3 rings probably have F, L and T inside, standing for Friendship, Love, and Truth as unbroken and linked together.
