Surnames: Biggs Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/WCE.2ACIB/1068 Message Board Post: My great grandfather was Neil Raymond Biggs born Nov 3, 1903 to George Chesterfield Biggs "Ches" and Julia Anne West. Ches was born on Dec 17, 1860 in NC and died Sept 4, 1930. His mother is listed in the 1880 census as Angelina Biggs. She is the head of the house and there are no other children listed. Does anyone know her spouse/Ches's father? Does anyone know her maiden name or her parents? I found another Biggs family in Rockfish, Cumberland, NC at the same time but I can't find how they are related. They are Alexander Biggs born about 1841 or so married to Delily "Lily" Gibson.
