Richard, I have the same family story about the 3 Biggs brothers. My William Biggs is found in Monongalia Co, VA in 1773. My great grandfather, Jacob Monn Biggs, wrote that William Biggs came to America as British soldier and defected stating, " By God this country is good enough for me" and stayed on the Monocacy River in Frederick Co, MD. My problem is connecting these two pieces if information. Do you have any ideas?
