The topic started in some private emails regarding the Beaver reunion (see other post). And I noticed that it will be located at a Church - Which raised red flags to me as I really haven't paid close detail on the religious following of what members I have encountered. You see, I'm from Chicago as is my father and his father and we're Jewish. My father's gf that I'm named after, was rumored to have either attended or graduated from a Rabbinical School - possibly in Chicago. Jan Robinson, who is a both a list & board member has done some extensive research on her Bieber side but so far has no history of Judaism. And on the surface see's no crossover to Judaism. Which brings me to my questions..... 1) How close does everyone track/trace/log religious beliefs & following of your ancestors? 2) Where/how do would we find this info - besides the obvious, like the cemeteries, certicates like moys or namings? 3) Has anyone actually documented where their lines switched faiths, such as Lutheran to Judaism, or whatever? 4) Has anyone else considered this before?
