Hi, everyone! Within the past couple of weeks, I have come into contact with some new cousins!! There is a connection, via multiple marriages in the McCombs/Lippard/and Beaver families. A very entertwined mess of spaghetti! And, what else is new in genealogy? In particular: My McCombs line comes from Andrew, b. abt. 1755, down to my grandmother, Lula Belle McCombs Beaver. My Beaver line begins with Hans Dietrich Bieber and comes down to my mother. The Lippard family married into the McCombs line with Mary Jane, sister to my great grandfather, Dorset Monroe McComb who married Solomon Thornton Adolphus Lippard. There are other surnames, of course... Was wondering who might be interested in having a reunion next summer of these three (or more) families. I am willing to coordinate it, with the help of other interested family folks... Would like to take a poll... I will keep a database of responses and report to the list for a vote as to where it should be, when, etc. If anyone is interested, please email me, off list. Even going out to our family cemetery all these years later you get the impression she was well loved by her husband and children.
