Their daughter Lizzie (two years older than my great gandmother Sarah her sister) married John Bidgood in 1870. There are references to the Bidgood family and descendants in "The Tarrs of Poverty Bay", Derek N. Tarr, 1992. Granny Tarr has her own chapeter in "New Zealand Pioneer Women".
