He married Edith M Finch in 1915 in Portsmouth and their children were Alan, William and Brian. He served in the Royal Navy during the 1st WW, probably based at Portsmouth, but also maintained a house at Barrow-in-Furness, then in Lancashire. I can find no records since he left the navy.
