Catherine - I am also descended from Barbara Bush and John Bomar - via their son, Bibby. I was really hoping for some info upstream or even more info about their families (siblings, stories, history etc). I understand the Bibby family is pretty extensive, and wonder if it is known how we fit into it. The Bushes have been a mystery to me as well, but I was told that Abraham was as far as anyone could ever get. Judging from some of the archived postings, more than a few of us share this pair of ancestors.
