Hello Bibby's; I copied the info below from the Military Record of John Bibby. I do not know which John this is but could be the one captured at the fall of Charleston, who was from James City Co. VA and 21 years of age. After tracing the activities in a Rev. War book it looks as tho John was with Gen. George Washington at the battle of Monmouth New Jersey. He had enlisted for the duration of the war but the records edns in 1779, so don't have anything after that. Hope someone knows who this John is and if my theory is right or wrong..
