My story begins with three brothers - Thomas, James (cir 1730-1785) and Richard (cir 1718-1778) and also two sisters Margaret and Elizabeth (cir 1723-1766). All three brothers make their first appearance in the parish registers of Bolton Le Sands in the mid 1750's. James and Richard built houses in Bolton Le Sands and were buried there. Thomas disappears off somewhere after the death of his wife Diana Nickson (possibly Pilling). None of this family were baptised in Bolton Le Sands. James will states that he owned land in Pilling, Preesall, Bolton le Sands and Nether Kellet but none of these places provide a baptism record for all siblings (or even a group of siblings). It doesnt appear as though James had any issue given that he left all of his goods to sons of Thomas and Richard (the PR's support this) and so I am on the look out for descendants of either Thomas (my direct line) or Richard.
