The family of a Thomas Bibby emigrated from Scotland in the 1850s and settled at Galesville, Trempelau County. The other was a William Bibby from Kirkby, Liverpool a few years earlier, and settled at Omro, Winnebago County. (This is near Waukau, not Wausau.) I think your Stanley is more likely to belong to this second family. I can put you in contact with researchers of this family if you like. John Bibby
