Hello fellow Bibby hunters. I am researching the family of WILLIAM BIBBY (journeyman Shipwright) and his wife JANE GREGGS. I have been unable to find their marriage as yet, but it appears that they had their children baptised at St. Peters Church, Liverpool: William Owen Bibby born 1845, Prescot (died before 1862) John Greggs Bibby bp 27 Feb 1848 (died before 1855) John Owen BIBBY born 14 Mar 1855 at 40 Roscoe St, Liverpool Alexander William Bibby bp 6 April 1851 Sarah Jane Bibby bp 4 April 1853 Jane Ann Bibby bp 24 Aug 1857 William Molyneux Bibby bp 17 Aug 1862 William M Bibby was found to be living in Aberdeen St, Toxteth Park, Liverpool in 1881, a boat builder, bording with another Bibby (possibly an uncle); Alexander W Bibby, clockfitter born Tranmere in 1830. There was also a Mary Jane Bibby bp at St Peters on 7 Dec 1837 (dau of William and Jane) but this must be too early to be the same William and Jane. john Owen Bibby married Hannah Simpson in 1878 Liverpool St Lukes and they had William George Bibby and Eleanor in 1880 at Toxteth park.
