Hi list I wonder if someone can assist me in unravelling a mystery. Thomas Jones MILLS (b.1845) & Lydia Sarah MILLS (b.1848) were both born in Maidenhead. After a long, long search I have finally discovered that Thomas emigrated to Australia in the 1860's (possibly in search of gold). Of Lydia I can find nothing after 1851. In the census of that year she is shown living with her parents in Egham. Then nothing ! If anyone can help in tracking down poor Lydia I'd be immensely grateful.
