    2. >From Daily News ( London, England ), Thursday, August 26, 1897; Issue 16042. DROWNING FATALITY The body of a young man, named John SIMMS, was found in a backwater of the Thames near Abingdon on Tuesday evening. Deceased was subject to epileptic fits, and it is supposed that while fishing he was seized with a fit and fell into the water. An inquest was held yesterday by the Oxfordshire Coroner, and the jury returned a verdict of " Accidentally drowned."
