Hi Everyone I have found a couple of references in the Criminal Registers on Ancestry that might be an ancestor. This is not a subject I have ever looked into before so how do I go about finding any more? How can I find out if it is my ancestor? regards MOIRA
It's always worth reading the collection notes on Ancestry. They appear at the bottom of the page if you scroll right down when you're searching each collection. Usually the notes tell you where the originals are held, and sometimes you get a link to the repository so you can order a document.
