    2. >From Jackson's Oxford Journal ( Oxford, England ), Saturday, February 14, 1824; Issue 3694. BIRTH. -- Tuesday last, at Pyrton Vicarage, in this county, the Lady of the Rev. William Lewis BUCKLE , of a son. On Tuesday last was married, at St. Clement's Church, Mr. James WHEELER , bookbinder, of this city, to Miss TALBOYS , of St. Aldate's. On Monday last was married, at St. Martin's Church, by the Rev. J. HYDE , Rector, Mr. R. SMITH, jun. to Miss C. PAVIER , both of this city. On Wednesday was married, at Mary-le-bonne Church, London, by the Rev. T. NORTH , Mr. J. HOOPER to Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. E. WELLS , both of this city. On the 12th inst. was married, by the Rev. John HYDE , Mr. CLARK , tobacconist, etc., of London, to Miss Sarah LONG , of Witney. On Thursday last was married, at the Parish Church of Great Milton, by the Rev. Thomas ELLIS , Vicar, Mr. Henry CURTIS , jun. grocer, of Watlington, to Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mrs. Ann SOMERTON , of Chilworth Farm, Oxon. On the 31st ult. died, in Finsbury-square, London, aged 34, George Fordyve MAVOR , Esq., youngest son of the Rev. Dr. MAVOR , Rector of Bladon cum Woodstock, in this county. On the 6th inst. died, in London, after a few days' illness, Capt. Robert GILES , R.N. aged 49, formerly of Henley-upon-Thames. Saturday last died, at his residence, Milton, near Banbury, in this county, in the 51st year of his age, Richard IORNS , Esq.; sincerely and deservedly lamented by a numerous circle of relatives, friends, and acquaintances, amongst whom he sustained the character of a generous, upright, honest man. On Tuesday last died, aged eight months, Charlotte Augusta, daughter of H. DIXON , Esq. On Monday last died, at Reading, in her 28th year, Eliza, wife of Saml. HARRIS , Esq., leaving two infant children -- the youngest only three weeks old. On Friday last died, at Church Handborough, aged 66, Mr. EELEY , butcher, late of Yarnton, in this county. On the 27th ult. died, after a short illness, aged 28, much regretted by his friends, Mr. James GIBSON , grocer, of Kidderminster, son of the late Mr. F. GIBSON , woolstapler, Banbury.
