    3. Hi Den Your David BIRCH or BURCH born circa 1791 was first married to an Elizabeth and had several children Elizabeth appears to have passed away by 1841 but could be visiting elsewhere An Ancestry tree shows Elizabeth passing away in 1835 but there is no source and may be a guess due to the last childs birth In 1841 Name: David Burch Age: 50 Estimated birth year: abt 1791 Gender: Male Where born: Hampshire, England Civil Parish: Wield Hundred: Alton (Upper Half) County/Island: Hampshire Country: England Registration district: Alton Sub-registration district: Alton Neighbors: View others on page Household Members: Name Age David Burch 50 John Burch 15 Daniel Burch 12 Mary Burch 9 Eliza Burch 6 HO107; Piece 382; Book: 12; Civil Parish: Wield; County: Hampshire; Enumeration District: 13; Folio: 4; Page: 2; Line: 17; GSU roll: 288790. In 1861 David is remarried to a Mary FIELD Marriage reg, a certificate would (should) show Davids father and his occupation Marriages Mar 1853 Birch David Droxford 2c 153 FIELD Mary Droxford 2c 153 Davids death reg Name: David Birch Estimated birth year: abt 1791 Year of Registration: 1880 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec Age at Death: 89 District: Droxford County: Hampshire Volume: 2c Page: 83 East Woodhay does not appear to be on the IGI so I would suggest making contact with both the Hampshire FHS and the Berkshire FHS plus both County records office's But first and foremost the marriage cert for his fathers details would be the first move Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > Hi All, > Seasons Greetings to you all! 3. Den, Sorry, in my first post I wrongly assumed you were after David junior. Having checked the Baptism index again I can confirm (for David senior) Nivard's info about birth (well baptism): BURCH, David Parents: Richard & Deborah, Baptised: 27 Feb 1791, Highclere Notes: adm, of East Woodhay The Marriage index only has one marriage that matches (the IGI has the same data): David Burch/Elizabeth Hooker married at Warnford 11 October 1814.
