I have another suggestion - familysearch.org is free and has hundreds of thousands of records. I actually did not see this suggestions on either list. Sometimes it just takes a bit of time for everyone on the list to read the list messages and respond. So, with one paid subscription and many free subscriptions, one can usually find most of what there is to be found on the web.
