My husband's great, great grandfather, William Haskell, died in August 1847 and his death certificate was issued AFTER burial. There was an inquest and the informant of death was the Coroner. William was only 40 and so far I have not found any reference to the inquest - wish I knew how he died so suddenly - death certificate tells me nothing much.
