There's a bit of a health warning about this transcription as I've seen a reproduced page from the original and not every little detail is captured correctly in the transcribed version. Also, bizarrely, the map showing the numbered houses is not included in the pamphlet. The introduction says "The map does not appear to have survived" - I can e-mail you my copy of it if you want. (The reproduction someone sent me previously of one page plus the maps may have been from the Berkshire Family Historian 1977/8 Vol 3, nos 2-4. I'm not sure whether it was from there or a copy/photo they'd done themselves.) That said, the major details in the EurekA pamphlet appear to be the same as the page I have seen. The numbers refer to the houses marked on the sketch map. Allegedly the notes were made in Mar 1801 with updates added on 25th Nov 1801 (*) plus much later information (**). "Out" appears to mean "moved out", probably "moved out of the parish". "Married" generally appears to mean they are also listed in their own household. 152 ALDRICH Widow (of Oakingham) Elizabeth 34 Out Sarah 32 Out Thomas 30 Married William 25 Out James 21 * Ran away for stealing COOPER's geese Jane 19 Ann 17 Catherine 11 15 ALDRICH Thomas Her son. *His wife dead and he and family removed to his mother's. and *Elizabeth BOLTON William 3 John 2 <I think this means Thomas ALDRICH is the son of the Widow ALDRICH and Elizabeth BOLTON died between March and November 1801, at which point the son moved in with his mother, from house 15 to house 152. House 15 is listed elsewhere as uninhabited.> 7 BARTHOLOMEW James and *Mary BOLTON *Dead John 6 James 4 Esther 2 Mary WOOLRIDGE *Widow, takes care of his children 17 BOLTON Widow Her husband died in St Luke's Hospital William - Married Mary 31 - Married and dead Abraham 28 Married **Buried 7 Apr 1847 aged 74 Elizabeth 26 - Married and dead Benjamin 24 - Married Hester 21 - Out Thomas 19 **Buried Jan 3 1813 aged 30 And James 12 Son of William 27 BOLTON Abraham and Charlotte William 4 Ann 1 1/2 24 BOLTON Benjamin and Mary MILOM John 2 *James inft 87 COCK Nathaniel and Mary ALDRICH ** Died 5 Mar 1802 Ann 30 - Out William 24 - Soldier Sarah 21 - Married to a soldier James 19 - Out Nathaniel 15 Joseph 13 Six dead 5 LOCK William and Amey BARTHOLOMEW William 2 1/2 Bastard John Inft 78 STONYFORD Richard and Susan SILVER* *Dead Joseph - Married Sarah - Married 2 dead Mary MILOM Granddaughter (whose mother died in childbed) **Married to Ben BOLTON <The transcription ** for Mary MILOM is in italics, used elsewhere in the pamphlet for a much later addition, but this appears to be inconsistent with the previous reference to her being in Benjamin Bolton's house in 1801.. The italics may be a transcription mistake.> I hope this helps!
