    1. [BRK] James Cox Death in Windsor Union Workhouse
    2. Colin Liddell
    3. I am hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. My wife's gg grandfather James COX b.c 1811/13 (depending on which Census you look at) Clewer, Windsor, married Ann WROTH date and place unknown presumably Clewer Windsor. I have them in the 1841,51,61,71 and 81 census with their family, Ann b.1836, Edwin b.1838, Jesse b1841, Susan b.1844, Mary Ann b.1845, Antoine b.1846, James b.1848, George b.1849, Thomas b.1851, Walter b.1853 and Emily b.1856. I have found what I believe is the death of Ann in 1883 aged 70 registered in Windsor 2c 286 . In the 1891 and 1901 Census James is living in the Windsor Union Workhouse, I don't have access to the 1911 Census so I cannot check that to see if he is still alive. I have searched FreeBMD from 1901 to 1920 without finding a suitable candidate. If James died in the Windsor Workhouse, I presume his death would be registered at Windsor. Any thoughts or suggestions? I would also welcome contact with any descendants or anyone researching this family. Colin in a hot and muggy Brisbane
