    3. Hi Jenny, I also found William James in 1881 and this record is free at the FamilySearch site. I did not find him in 1891 and Ancestry has a tree belonging to the "lewisfamily1177" which shows 1886 24 Jul Age: 22 Immigration arr Brisbane aboard 'Dacca' with family. Labourer. 22y The source for this says "Shipping register" but the only record to match this on Ancestry is Name: Wm J Weeks Age: 22 Birth Year: abt 1864 Place of Origin: England Ship Name: Dacca Port of Arrival: Townsville Arrival Date: 20 Jul 1886 It looks as if you need to check this record elsewhere - "TheShipsList" might help. The marriage record shows Name: William James Wicks Spouse Name: Clara Elizabeth Barker Marriage Date: 17 Aug 1912 Marriage Place: Queensland Registration Place: Queensland Registration Year: 1912 Registration Number: B012135 Page Number: 27972 I can also come up with some Australian Electoral rolls - I have never seen these before but if you want them contact me off list and I will send you the images. I have sent an outline list off list. Hope this helps, Christine -----Original Message----- From: Jenny Wicks Sent: Sunday, August 21, 2011 6:49 AM To: BERKSHIRE@rootsweb.com Subject: [BRK] WICKS Hi Jon, Many thanks for your tremdous help. The family details were great. I had some of those names on a list, but had no idea whether they were my husband's family. I am so happy. I had the details of William James marriage. He married in Brisbane, Australia, so left England at some stage. The date I have for the marriage is 17 Aug., 1912. Whether that is correct, I am not sure, but will endeavour to find out. Thanks again, Jenny in Aus.
