The next meeting of the Berks FHS Computer Branch will be on Wednesday 18th May 2011. Tony Wright will be talking to us about Crew Lists. Do you have merchant seamen ancestors or relatives? Where did they travel to? How much did they get paid? How long were they at sea? Who did they send money home to? Crew Lists may help you answer these and many other questions. Even if you don't have merchant seaman in your family tree yet (further searching may reveal that you do) this should still prove to be a very interesting talk. As usual, Cliff and Jean will be bringing a selection of items from the Berks FHS bookstall together with many sale bargains. In addition there will be a number of experts on hand to help answer any family history problems or computer related queries you may have. Our meeting will be at the usual venue of the Oakwood Centre, Woodley, Reading RG5 4JZ; 7.15 for a 7.45 start.
