Dear list and Jill Muir in particular, Blewbury has many CASBEARDS in the parish records from about 1600 to 1953. The name has been spelled variously as Casberd, Casbert, Caseberd but clearly all the same family. Interstingly, I can find no occurrence of James as a first name, and very few references to anywhere outside Blewbury.
