    2. >From Jackson's Oxford Journal, Saturday, March 12, 1814; Issue 3177. BERKSHIRE ASSIZES. At these Assizes which commenced on Monday last, Charles WHITE , for horse-stealing, three indictments; James HERBERT , alias HARBAD , for breaking open the dwelling house of Rich. YOUNG , at Radley, and stealing thereout several articles of wearing apparel, etc; Mary Ann GOULD , ( removed by habeas corpus from Newgate ) for stealing 19 bank notes, of the value of 19 Pounds, the property of Wm. MENDLEY ; and William QUARTERMAN , for a burglary in the house of Sarah FIDLER , were severally found guilty, and received sentence of death.
