    3. Hi Jon There are a few family trees on Ancestry that include this couple, unfortunately none of them include have Elizabeth's parents. Brightwell and Peasemore are about 30 miles apart. HTH!     3. Very many thanks Karen, I know the trees you refer to, sadly they are mostly duplicated and contain quite a number of errors, where info hasn't been thoroughly checked and corrected. This happens a lot with online trees unfortunately. I guess even back in the mid 1700's, 30 miles wasn't far away. My John NIXEY started his life in Cuddesdon, Oxfordshire, in 1737, then as I say was apprenticed in Brightwell in 1754, married in Upton cum Chalvey, Bucks, in 1765 where he appears to have stayed for the rest of his life until his death in 1817. I don't know if these places appear to form a route, or whether its here there and everywhere. <G> Many thanks once again, Jon
