Can anyone help with where Joseph and Phoebe Stevens might have come from, or where they were married? Their son Joseph was my 2g-grandfather, baptised at Windsor 26 Oct 1800. He was a shoemaker who married Sarah Hillier at St Pancras in 1831 and they raised a family in Sunninghill. Joseph and Phoebe appear to have had 2 further children baptised at Reading - Martha baptised 17 Aug 1798 at St Giles, and Sarah baptised 14 March 1796 at St Mary. Joseph Stevens (who married Phoebe) may have been the son of Joseph Stevens and Elizabeth Reade baptised 18 Nov 1751 at Reading St Mary. Can anyone help with Joseph Stevens and Phoebe's marriage? Or where Joseph Stevens who married Elizabeth Read 12 Jan 1746 at St Mary came from? Thanks for any help, Jenny Beaumont Aberdeenshire
