    3. Thank you so much for your kindness in looking up this man for us. Particular thanks to Wendy, Nivard, Rhoda and Hilary. I couldn't believe all the help I had. Thank you all. I am now looking for another man, and need verification really. Pte. Henry George Drewett, 13308 1st Bn. Royal Berkshire Regt. died aged 28 on 08 Oct 1918 Brother Mr Bert Drewett, Sefton Park, Liverpool. St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen. I have the 1891 census for Oxford St Thomas, where he seems to have been born, of Walter and Hannah with a brother Bertie. Cannot find Bertie, hopefully his name is Albert, although may well have all the other family. I hadn't realised that there were quite so many Drewitts about. Thanks again. Kind regards, Jill http://www.kingston-bagpuize.com - an online history of Kingston Bagpuize & area. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jill Muir" <jill@shottle.plus.com> To: <berkshire@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2011 5:25 PM Subject: [BRK] DREWITT, Henry John. > Hi Listers, > Is it possible that anyone is researching DREWITT? > > Our local history society is trying to trace DREWITT, Henry John. > Killed on the Somme, 26/8/1918. > Private, 254877, 3rd Bn. attd. 2nd/2nd Bn, London Regiment (Royal > Fusiliers), ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to BERKSHIRE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Have you tried your local library to see if they have an Ancestry subscription? Now you have the names of the various databases from Nivard's email you should be able to find details of Henry George yourself. Good luck HB --- On Wed, 26/1/11, Jill Muir <jill@shottle.plus.com> wrote: > From: Jill Muir <jill@shottle.plus.com> > Subject: Re: [BRK] DREWITT, Henry John. > To: berkshire@rootsweb.com > Date: Wednesday, 26 January, 2011, 15:23 > Thank you so much for your kindness > in looking up this man for us. > Particular thanks to Wendy, Nivard, Rhoda and Hilary. > > I couldn't believe all the help I had.  Thank you > all. > > I am now looking for another man, and need verification > really. > > Pte.
