Hello everyone. I would appreciate some guidance / suggestions with the following situation. On 13 November 1800 I have the marriage of John Perkins and Ann Cruttwell in Wokingham. According to the book “ The History of the Cruttwell Families of Wokingham (Berks) and Bath “ by Dr. Harry Athill Cruttwell that was printed in 1933, Ann is the daughter of Robert Crutwell and Sarah Bunce. But that Ann was, according to the LDS records, was bapt. 09 December 1785 which seems young to be married at age 15. There are 3 other candidates: Ann Cruttwell 16 January 1767 to John and Sarah Ann Crutwell 13 October 1775 to Thomas and Ann Ann Crutwell 16 December 1775 to John and Ann Any suggestions as to where I might find additional information that would reveal the parents of the Ann Crutwell who married 13 November 1800 would be greatly appreciated. All events took place in Wokingham ( however it seems John and Ann Perkins moved to Hertfordshire where William Henry Perkins was christened 20 November 1801 at the St. Andrew's Church in Herford ( the aforementioned book sez that John and Ann married in Hertfordshire but I cannot find any record of a Perkins/Cruttwell marriage in Hertfordshire, however I have found a marriage in Wokingham ) ).
