Hello Iam trying to find christenings and marriages in Shaw cum Donnington that are held in the Berkshire Record Office. D/P 106 (Which I assume is the catalogue number). They hold registers of Baptisms 1846-1981 and marriages 1846-1985. I am after details of the COOK family.First child is Caleb, born approx 1835 and the last child appears to be Jessie b1847. There should also be a Levi born about 1850. The LDS film only goes up to 1837.What I want to confirm is that I have the correct family. Father could William. If anyone could look that up for me I would be most grateful, as it's a bit far from Australia. Thanks in anticipation Joy Light
Hello Joy, I was in the BRO yesterday so looked up your Cook family after 1837. William & Lucy COOK of Shaw - Labourer - had the following children baptised in Shaw-cum-Donnington Church 1841 Jul 11 GEORGE 1847 Mar 7 JESSE 1850 Mar 3 LEVI Levi appeared to be the youngest of William & Lucy's family baptised in Shaw-cum-Donnington Church. So it looks like you have the correct family.
