PA -- my John McCann married Ellen Hoy in 1852 -- this Hoy family arrived in NY from Ireland in 1836. I am currently trying to find their descendants -- they have been tough to trace but I have some leads to check out -- only found one grave so far -- the parents of this family were Patrick & Mary Hoy.
