I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Carl BENNETT which was taken at the P. S. Ryder Studio in Syracuse, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Carl likely in his teens at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has written "old beau of Mothers from Syracuse" on the back of the photograph. BENNETT, age 42, 2nd marriage 1 year, born NY, parents born NY, a Factory Foreman Helene BENNETT, wife, age 40, 1st marriage 1 year, no children, born NY, parents born Germany John BENNETT, son, age 15, born NY, parents born NY 1920 census of Brutus Township, NY: Carl L. BENNETT, age 52, born NY, parents born NY, a Dry Goods Merchant Helene BENNETT, wife, age 50, born NY, parents born Germany I am hoping to locate someone from Carl's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of his family.
