Robert Chapman Bennett, son of Caleb Bennett and Freelove Chapman, was born 21 Aug 1791 in Massachusetts and died 12 Jul 1830 in Nelson Township, Portage County, Ohio. He married Sarah "Sally" Belden on 18 Sep 1812 in West Stockbridge, Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Sarah "Sally" Belden was born 21 Jul 1793 in Massachussetts and died 12 Jul 1871 in Palatine, Cook County, Illinois. After Robert Chapman Bennett's death, Sally Belden Bennett served as administratrix of her husband's estate and Silas Belden, whom I believe to be her brother, of Cleveland, Cuyahouga County, Ohio was approinted guardian of the minor heirs.
